Well it's just day one on the CNS plan and so far it's been easy. I'm a carbaholic so only time will tell. I've tried low carbing in the past and have never made it past 10 days so I figure if 10 days is the longest I ever have to go I should be golden 🙂I'm guessing I weigh around 140 but refuse to get on a scale. I accumulated the extra 10 pounds (not bad) during my pregnancy and now it's time to get this fat off. I was happy with my somewhat athletic (but tiny) 130 lbs at 5'1 and 23% body fat size 4 before I got preggers. A little jiggly in spots but smallest size I've ever been in my life even smaller than I was in jr high. I was super into healthy eating and in total control of what I ate all the time, until I got preggers and figured if I'm gonna get fat anyway I might as well have fun with it 🙂 So, I have about 10 pounds of fat to lose and actually  wouldn't mind getting my body fat percentage into the mid teens. No, I'd love it. I could care less about how much I weigh. I actually get satisfaction out of telling my girlfriends that I weigh more than them even though I'm way smaller. So, one day down and 8 1/2 to go. I can definitely do this especially since I have something to look forward to every week.I will also be doing bikram yoga probably 5 days a week and a brisk 5 mile walk with my puppies every morning as much as possible. Feedback is always welcome...thanks for reading!

Welcome aboard!Initially the 10 day prep phase can tend to make people go crazy, but just hang in there.  Body fat will dwindle away in no time  🙂Cheers!

Welcome!!!Definitely start a log and take before pics and measurements. Keep it simple and you almost can't go wrong with CNS!

Thanks for the warm welcome folks! I took my before pics but I don't want to take measurements or use a scale because I find I easily get obsessed with weighing and/or measuring myself. I'll take pics again once I've fit back into my size 4 lucky's, not until then! I've been reading some other members logs I notice that the more people worry and stress over the numbers, the less results they have. I have a theory that the more you focus on the (lack of) results the harder it is to get results. My strategy is going to be eat when I'm hungry, until I'm not hungry any more and eat as little carbs as possible for the first 9 1/2 days. I'm not going to bother focusing on anything else for now. I know the results will come.Thank you all for your support and advice!Looking forward to sharing with all of you 🙂

Measurements are still important, weight is not but to each his own. You may wish later on you had taken them when you started.

Thanks for the input. I don't have a tape measure and don't really feel the desire to take measurements. I prefer going by how I look/feel. But that's just what works best for me! On another note I find no matter how much I eat during the day I'm starving at night and having trouble sleeping
