riain80KeymasterIn the CNS book it states that: you should take whey isolate everyday. The book was originally written for people with seditary life styles. I am not one of these people. I follow the shockwave protocol and have a physically demanding job. My confusion has come from reading posts, on certain threads, which have stated that: you should only take whey isolate after working out on your training days. I am almost finished my prep phase and have done what the book has stipulated: I have taken it every day. So what is it? And have I ruined my prep phase? There seems to be a lot of conflicting information through out the threads.I know that there has been many changes made to the 'CNS' protocol since its publication. I have been made aware of such advance by listening to the podcast and reading the threads on the forums. However, I can not find a definitive answer for this question. I just hope I haven't fucked up my prep phase or I will be pissed, as will my mate who I told to take it everyday!

Trevor G FullbrightModeratorYou should really only take it PWO, but I doubt you will need to restart the prep phase or anything if you took it on an off day as long as you aren't just drinking them all day.

riain80GuestI have only had one scoop (30g) once a day through out my prep phase. So will I still be on track with my prep? Thanks for your help on this matter.

Trevor G FullbrightModeratorAs long as you've also been getting enough fat you should be fine.If you've been getting less then 1:1 by gram of protein:fat then you will likely want to re-start the prep phase.

riain80GuestA few of the days I have been a few grams of fat below the 1:1. Will that mean a restart?

A few grams low on fat shouldn't hurt.If you are getting in the range on having protein be 50% of calories, you will likely need to restart.

riain80GuestI shouldn't need to restart then. My fats so far have made up the larger percentage of my calorie intake for each day. I may, however, restart to be on the safe side. Thanks a lot for your help.
