Thanks!Looking forward to my chocolate chip pancakes after my PWO!Papa John's also has 5 toppings for a large for 8.99 so I think that will be before bed!I swear the more I eat the better I look and feel compared to more "controlled" backloads.

John LaPlaca JrMemberI just remeber always hearing that cooking with protein powder may lower the content or destroy the amino acids.

Heating may "denature" or break down the protein, but that's going to happen in your gut anyway. Bake on.

tzanghiParticipantPlain and simple; whey Protein is not heat stable, therefore cooking is like pasteurizing and destroying it.
I'm sorry, but this is just not true. Milk has whey and is pasteurized, yet none of the protein in milk is "destroyed." The only thing heat may do is break down the protein, which is just a form of digestion taking place prior to ingestion.

Yes. I've made some de-frickin-licous gluten free, ginger-spice, protein pancakes.Just google protein pancakes, protein muffins, etc and you'll find tons of recipes.
