bobbitt81MemberHas anyone ever gotten even remotely decent results doing this?Anything I've ever tried tastes like ass.
Yes. I've made some de-frickin-licous gluten free, ginger-spice, protein pancakes.Just google protein pancakes, protein muffins, etc and you'll find tons of recipes.
I must be using the wrong recipes.

It's not really that difficult.. If you're making bisquick, for example, just throw a couple scoops of an appropriately flavored protein powder into the mix and see how it works. Tweak from there.

tzanghiParticipantPlain and simple; whey Protein is not heat stable, therefore cooking is like pasteurizing and destroying it.
I'm sorry, but this is just not true. Milk has whey and is pasteurized, yet none of the protein in milk is "destroyed." The only thing heat may do is break down the protein, which is just a form of digestion taking place prior to ingestion.
Milk-dairy products in general are not Whey isolate or hydrolysates. Cheap forms of Whey pre-mixed drinks and powder proteins will not support CBL or CNS by Kiefer. Clearly you haven't read any of the 2 main books supporting this topic that the DH team aka Athlete.io revolve around.I don't want to quote from Chapter 25 of CBL 2.0, but the information clearly validates why you're completely wrong with excellent references to back it up on page 265.
There's a difference between being unaware and choosing not to believe after you've read the evidence.http://www.marksdailyapple.com/dear-mark-strong-but-stiff-denatured-proteins-weeklong-fasting-and-oxalates/#axzz2bBk1kE6UYou'll have to pay for the study he references if you want to review it.Here's a summary from a bio textbook:http://highered.mcgraw-hill.com/sites/9834092339/student_view0/chapter3/protein_denaturation.htmlIf you couldn't digest denatured proteins, then all egg whites you ever consumed after cooking would have been lost.
