Cream should be okay in moderation (a tbsp with coffee maybe). Just make sure you get HEAVY whipping cream (35%).

Fairy, What cream are you using? I can't find heavy whipping cream (I think it's an American thing) so I have to go with either whipping cream or double cream. I've tried both but can't decide on which is best. I used it mainly for my coffee!

I'm pretty sure they are basically the same thing. As long as it doesn't have carbs you will be fine to use it.

I think the main difference is the fat content as there isn't a great deal of difference in the Carbs (if I remember correctly). Cheers.

FairyGuest+1 for double cream. Clotted cream is also good
Watch out, they mix sugar with most cream in coffee shops here in the UK, and no doubt in the US too.

Not here, not in Starbucks at least. They pour it straight from the commercial carton. When I order, I ensure to press for ZERO sugar or flavorings. I emphasize, to the point of sounding insane, black coffee with heavy whipping cream, nothing else. This is on the rare occassions I get coffee out... usually I make my own, instant version. This does elicit looks, b/c America is full of fatties who want everything to taste 'good', but food to me is a fuel (generally-speaking). I do indulge on CN, but definitely as a means to an end.My ULC meals are often straight-up and bland (i.e., eggs over spinach). The most I might add is:Salt - for more pump / vascularityPepper - for the bioperine content, to enhance nutrient absorption.Cory
