Caffeine and creatine is a no no. Read the creatine articles.

Say what?In the CBL book, the AM shake has caffeine in it?

Caffeine and creatine is a no no. Read the creatine articles.

If you are training it doesn't matter. In other instances it might be best to avoid mixing the 2.Although honestly I don't think it matters much.

Phew, allright then… I'm doing Shockwave for Carb Nite, thats why I want the creatine.I'm basically following the CBL guidelines, just without refeeding in the evening.

    Except peri-workout, as Trev said.

Kiefer seems to think it doesn't matter. Unless that article is old news and he's changed his mind. He speaks directly about the single study in it.

The key is peri-workout. I think mixing them other times won't cause any damage, just be a waste of your time to do it. That's why he said keep caffeine in the first half of your day and do most of your creatine toward the end of the day.
