Hi All,Can you tell me what brand of Creatine I should be buying?  I only need to take 5 g a day on CNS (female).  Is there one that tastes good? Thanks 🙂

Any creatine monohydrate should do the trick. As for taste, it doesn't really have one. I mix it with water and it just has a slight chalky-ness to it.

For me it is easier to take a teaspoonful right on the tongue then chase it with as much water as needed. When I mix it in a glass I am constantly trying to keep it stirred, and there is always some left in the bottom.

I got the stuff recommended (from True Nutrition, Creatine Monohydrate) and I'm trying to use about 20g a day.And man, it tastes horrible and the chalky texture (I'm usually not a wuss about this) is almost too much for me to bear. Is there another place to get some that isn't as bad?

You can buy fancier creatine like Concrete, but they are very expensive.  I would suck it up eat and just take the stuff you have.  It doesn't taste that bad.

Optimum Nutrition's micronized creatine doesn't really have any flavor i could detect when mixed in my shakes

I'm quite specific with my creatine and I always mix it in warm water so that it completely dissolves within a matter of seconds. When it's dissolved like this you won't taste it at all, that said warm water isn't always that refreshing so I mix in a dissolvable vitamin c tablet to make it more pleasant. Some people argue it doesn't make a difference as the body will still absorb it, however I'd rather dissolve in the glass first so that I'm 100% sure, as other claim it doesn't digest - one less thing to be concerned about

I use TN's Creatine Mono and I can't even taste it, and my pre-workout is just ~4oz water, 5g creatine, 3g beta-alanine..If you're upset at the taste of creatine, you must not be taking leucine 🙂

i use crea core from muscle tech, its another hcl but they have sales on bb.com constantly can get 2 containers for about 35 with shipping each can last about 2 and a half months depending on weight, maybe even 3 months(for women) 35 for 6 months of creatine isnt badit is a tad bit inconvenient cuz it needs its own shake (chocolate and lemon lime dont sound very good)
