Jeff WilliamsParticipantAs Kiefer states in his creatine series of articles, “creapure” and the like are not requirements, essentially it just needs to be straight creatine monohydrate as it has the highest percentage of creatine and the best absorption and rate of absorption.

maxwkwMemberHere's the story behind creapure. When creatine first came out, a lot of the stuff that was being sourced from china was impure. A German company came along and produced "creapure" a "more pure" form of creatine. It's actually just what it was supposed to be. Now a days the stuff everywhere is pure creatine mono hydrate. So, when it used to be better it is now all the same.

steve_76MemberI would recommend Ethyl Ester creatine. The reason for this is that there is no bloating with this type of creatine and you don't need a loading phase. Just take 3g with water an hour before training. Get it from myprotein.com. For any further info go to their site.

Do some research on CEE.It's completely useless and a giant waste of money.

steve_76MemberHave you tried CEE? Useless? The same could be said about a lot of supplements,but don't believe everything you read! If it works for you use it. I have used monohydrate and CEE. I prefer CEE.

At least my doctor may have been right about one form of creatine.

steve_76MemberThe University of Tulsa have done the most recent analysis of Ethyl Ester. Go to http://www.utulsa.edu and search for analysis of Ethyl Ester. The have confirmed that it is not harmful, and also that is is not worse for you than normal creatine, however it is twice as expensive and because it absorbs quicker athletes are probably not using enough for optimal results. When I finish my CEE i'll switch back to monohydrate. The one thing that is maybe better. and was the reason I bought it, is that it doesn't cause bloating.
