Tara ChantlerParticipantI have used the search at the top to no avail, so if this has been asked, I apologize. I know you are not supposed to take the nicotine with carbs, but are you supposed to still take the nicotine post workout if you use CS?

SpatzModeratorI asked it in the Super Humans In Training FB group. Here's the replies.
Spatz January 12 at 6:53pm · I have a question for all you great minds.I was posed with this question and I thought it was really good, good enough to ask the Super Humans here. How do you pair Carb Nite, Nicotine Declassified, and Carb Shock? Say its an ULC training day. You wake up, take your 4mg nic, then around 2pm you take another 2mg nic prior to training. You train your little rear off, wait an hour, then go to drink your PWO shake and Carb Shock.WAIT! Carb Shock has 15g of insulin spiking carbohydrates. Sure, we don't necessarily count them in our 30g net or under day, but they are still carbs. We just absorbed 4mg nic in the morning and another 2 mg a few hours ago.How does this play out with the whole "Don't mix nicotine and carbs!" rule in Nicotine Declassified?Thoughts?
Trevor It's probably more of a don't mix large amounts of carbs and nicotine thing.January 12 at 6:56pm ·
Trevor Worrying about 15g mixed with it is something I would probably list under the minors.January 12 at 6:56pm ·
Michael I put this somewhere in between "don't worry about it" and "try it and see how it works for you."January 12 at 7:03pm ·
Fergus Kiefer states in nicotine declassified that if you resistance train its fine to eat carbs afterwards.January 13 at 12:28am ·
Pedro If one has just resistance trained them you don't need to worry about the nic. I use nic every so often with CBL. Works great.January 13 at 3:30am ·
Paško Spatz he said somewhere you can take it as prescribed.I was wondering the same thing, especially looking at the morning protocol: you would take 2mg nicotine, then train, then take 2mg nicotine pwo, then after an hour take carb shock.I have to agree with Trevor Fullbright, that's also my opinion.January 13 at 10:27am ·

Tara ChantlerParticipantThanks Spatz! I already read those answers, but thank you for posting. I just wasn't sure if there was anyone else who had any experience. I assume when you use it you're in the “not worrying about it” group. 😉 Ur awesome!

SpatzModeratorSeeing as the book states protocols for Nic Declassified with CBL DB and SA, then they are assuming you are backloading carbs after your workout, while still taking nic that morning or before the workout (in the case of SA) So after reading back through ND, its already stated pretty much there. CS is a carb that you are taking post workout. Problem answered.

John LaPlaca JrMemberNot sure if it is nationwide but 7/11's in the Chicago land area are selling Nicotine gum for 3.99 for 10 pieces. They have 4MG and 2 MG.

Scope75GuestCostco for all your nicotine needs. I never really price checked things but it's bulk gum, lozenges, and even patches all in 1 place.
