Jenelle BrewerParticipantHello, I am curious. 🙂My 13-year-old son has a pet rat whom we dearly love, named Cookie. Cookie has a couple of tumors that the veterinarian has chosen not to remove, because something was also showing up in her lungs on an X-ray.Cookie has now been put on a "ketogenic"-type diet of real, whole food. You know, like we eat. I am curious to see if this will stop the growth of her tumors, or maybe even shrink them.I thank you, Kiefer, for bringing this idea to our family. It has given us hope where there was none.I am also curious to know if CNS or CBL (or a combo of the two) is the solution I have been looking for. I have recently purchased and read both books. I have been listening to all of the Body.io podcasts. I have been stalking the forums a bit, curious why it was that I could not get registered? Finally... finally got it sorted out today. In case you are curious, I am a woman, 35, consistently hanging out around 14% body fat according to a 7-point skinfold analysis done by my trainer. I am curious as to how accurate this can really be, however, considering that he does not grab any fat on my ass or the back of my legs -- where it all likes to hang out and resemble cottage cheese. I am curious if I can actually get this fat to go away again without extreme measures. I go to the gym and lift -- whatever he tells me to do pretty much -- 3x per week for about an hour. Other than that, my husband and I walk around the neighborhood. Sometimes a little, sometimes a lot. I don't "do cardio".I am curious to see if I can find a good balance here with CNS & CBL, following Kiefer's podcasts, listening to my body, not obsessing about calories, and if I can actually see some of the remaining fat disappear to reveal the muscles I have been working so hard for. I have definitely had a few questions along the way, so I am glad to be able to post them here when I get curious again! 🙂
