Brandon D ChristParticipantthats what ive currently been doing hydro/isolate blend(wheybolic platinum gnc brand) +3-5g leucine but i currently wanted to do more of a "Bulk" type phase im roughly 175lbs bout 14% btw
You can't be scared of carbohydrates then if you want to get bigger. If having more than 200 g of carbs is making you fat, then either your training isn't intense enough (unlikely) or you have insulin sensitivity issues (most likely). If it's the latter, then you should lean down a bit more to improve your insulin sensitivity.

In my opinion you shouldn't bulk past 14%, and you should be around 10% to start a bulk.I'd say you need to either do a long recomp or a short cut.You say your carbs are really low, what do your overall macros look like and what does you training look like?
it also depends on how often i train if i do 5-6 times that week its around 150ish if only 4 more like 200-250i try to get(struggle) 1lb prot per pound of weight, .5g fat per lbso roughly 170prot, 80-90fat, training days well say on avg 200gcarb, non training i try to get at least .8-1g prot 150-170 prot, roughly 120g fat, well im on break from school right now and only am working so i will definately keep these in check and get them upas fat as training i do cbl heavy duty but ill add the compound excersize in first, (i.e heavy bench on chest, deads, ect 3 sets of 5)I also add in a few extra moves if i feel it necessary (i.e leg ext on legs, or cables and incline dumbell on chest)so im there roughly 1 1/2 hours out of preference

interesting, well ill likely try around 200 a night and see how it goes, if bad then ill follow trevors advice, and most likely just suck it up to cn maybe twice a week until i can drop a few %cn blows so hard but works so good

MikehrMemberBelieve me speaking from experience, lean out first. It is soo much easier to see how your body reacts to certain things when your lean, nutrient partioning is better and bloat is way less

omar57ParticipantI 100% agree with ibobland08……i have 400-500g of carbs after every workout because i need them i train 5 days of week with 25-35 sets for each bodypart. I do even more for arms because there my lagging body part, and a crap load of reps i'm really big on volume….. TUT only way muscles grow

YOU DO THE SAME VOLUME? With that little carbs? Your either not training hard enough or your seriously over reaching
