DerekcervaParticipantnice to know and your intaking this with about how much prot? I was thinking about picking up glycofuse and going about 10g prot 15g hbcd intra

MikehrMemberI do 15g of pepto pro or 20g bcaas with 50g of glycofuse, make sure you get a highly hydrolyzed protein though so it doesnt slow the HBCDS down, there was an article on this somewhere I will post it if I find it

MikehrMemberHonestly if you eat 250g of carbs now and you move 50 intra workout you will most likely see a huge increase in performance and body comp.

I don't know about body comp, but definitely performance.

I'd say they are about the same during the workout and post workout. Even if it was better, I don't think the difference would be noticeable.

DerekcervaParticipanthm, well i generally consume lower amounts out of fear of excess fat gain, around 100-125 on a low day maybe around 200 on a highyou think it would be best to do it percentile wise?as in roughly 15g on low 25highsomething along those lines

It would probably be best if you just skip intra workout carbs. If your carb needs are less than 200 g, your training probably wouldn't benefit at all from intra workout carbs.

DerekcervaParticipantmakes sense i suppose, my intention was to use them to decrease muscle breakdown in the event i worked out over an hour which i commonly do
December 6, 2013 at 8:32 pm #95350
MikehrMemberYeah in your case I agree, maybe forego them until your carb amount needs to increase

You can do that protein hydrolysates, leucine, and BCAAs.

In my opinion you shouldn't bulk past 14%, and you should be around 10% to start a bulk.I'd say you need to either do a long recomp or a short cut.You say your carbs are really low, what do your overall macros look like and what does you training look like?
