kasandramercierKeymasterHey Everyone! My name is Kasandra and I'm from Maine! My husband and I both started CNS 2 days ago, so far, I couldn't feel better!!! I feel less bulky, more energized, and EXCITED about results I've heard about from some other people. I do have a few questions though.....#1 is there such thing as drinking too much water on CNS?#2 on CNS, how much working out should be going on?#3 What kinds of "sweets" should be added on carb nights? Thanks for the answers in advance 🙂

First... welcome! 😀Now, down the list:1. No. Keep hydrated. I sip water throughout the entire day.2. You don't have to work out, but that is no fun. 😉 Stick to 3 days of lifting a week (try to keep to 45-60 minutes a session), and 1-2 days of HIIT cardio (for 30 minutes a session) directly AFTER your CN... preferably in the morning, fasted.3. Stick to fast-carb, sugary type sweets in the first meal. Look for things that DO NOT contain HFCS, but rather glucose, dextrose or sugar. Your first meal should be higher-carb, lower-fat (think candies and angelfood cake). The following meals can be whatever you desire... cake, cookies, pastries, etc. Avoid processed junk and trans fats. Just keep eating protein, to meet your daily quota (0.8g - 1.3g / lb. of lean weight). If you find gluten or dairy is an issue (i.e., you begin to stall), try scaling back.Best of luck! 😀Cory

I've bolded some items to consider.1. Eat your yolks.2. Watch getting too many nuts... plant fat is not as preferable as animal fat. Watch for inflammation or stalling. Also, nuts contain usable carbs.3. Watch your cheese intake. If you begin to stall, cut it out. Cheese can cause inflammation, too.Are you eating 1:1 fat:protein? Keep protein @ 0.8 - 1.3 grams x your lean bodyweight per day... and eat fat equivalent to that amount, but err on the side of fat.Cory

kasandramercierGuestI focused so much on the carbs that I did not take a look at protein to fat ratio… I need to take a look at that, thanks for the heads up!
