I know the obvious things that qualify for High Intensity Training. I do Insanity, or bootcamp, and similar things. I also dance. This includes spurts of high energy output movements with 1-2 minutes rest in between movement. It involves a degree of plyometrics I  would say (jumping, up and down, fast movements). I am always nearly breathless and sweating. Would this also qualify as HIIT?

I think the main differentiator would be the “high intensity” which is a relative term.  Most of the time when people talk HIIT they are referring to bouts of borderline all-out energy output followed by rest or lower energy output (the obvious sprints/walk-jog).  I don't see why what you stated couldn't be that, I think it would just come down to how “all-out” your “all-outs” are.As an aside, being breathless and sweaty can be achieved many different ways...I don't think I would use this as a clarifier on HIIT or not.

It could be okay, but here's this. Googled help a bit as well.
