no just the amount of food/backloads you do. i'm doing DB and i backload everyday including non workout days, doing DB you will get bigger and stronger but you will add some fat. SA you don't backload on non workout days and you should not gain fat, when i was running SA i didn't.
DB is simply more food that's it. You do not have to backload every day. In fact most people would get better results if they didn't. On contrary there are situations (very high training volume) where you should backload daily on SA.
