Ive been having a tough time choking down all the carbs I'm supposed to be. I'm 220 body weight, so the book says I should be getting at least 770g of carbs. I'm a strongman competitor, and fat loss is not a concern for me. After about four slices of New York style pizza, or half a dozen donuts, I'm done. Stuffed. This isn't anywhere close to what I need. I try pounding some dextrose with milk, still to no avail. Help me out. Is there a magical superfood that has 300g per serving?

You don't need to hit that number, the book gives an estimated max number of carbs. If you want to eat more just work on adding 25-50g more each night till you hit your desired number.

Try avoiding gluten and dairy during your next couple of backloads. That helps me a lot. You can also supplement dextrose or maltodextrin with your meals.

I'd add maltodextrin/dextrose to my protein shakes in the backload.
