TriniechuMemberNot sure if I consider myself “bigger people” but I do have more fat on my body than most people.I am 30 years old, 5'1" and as of now I am 164.3 lbs. I'm already 3 weeks in and had my 4th carb nite last night. I have seen a few minor changes and I know my tummy is definitely shrinking. So do you think that it might take awhile to see more drastic results because of my body type? Here is my meal intake:7:30 am- protein shake, eggs, sometimes bacon or chicken sausage12:30 pm - (lunch) fish or chicken with 1/2 avocado and a protein shake4:30pm- I will usually snack on almonds, or 2 tbsp of almond butter, a few pork rinds, and even coffee with heavy cream7:00pm- (dinner) 2 pieces of fish or turkey burger with cheese and my other 1/2 avocadoI do cook all my meals with coconut oil, and sometimes i do add coconut oil or almond butter into my shakes. So sometimes im not sure if im eating too much, or too little for my weight/body type.I appreciate all the help I can get and thanks again in advance. Katrina 🙂

SpatzModeratorHow long do you wait after you get up to eat breakfast? I know not everyone's schedules can allow a 2 hour break inbetween waking and eating but if you can I would suggest moving your breakfast to later. If you are still hungry maybe try some bulletproof coffee? (Coffee, cream, coconut/mct oil, butter)

TCBParticipantIf you can see progress happening, isn't that all that's really important?Just seems like a classic case of "more, more, faster, faster." Kiefer has said this numerous times, but you didn't gain the fat in 4 weeks, so why expect to lose it in 4 weeks?I'd say keep on going as long as you're getting results and don't sweat it!

I always eat my breakfast at 7:30 since I'm always up that early to get ready for work. I never get hungry either before I have my lunch. But around 9:30 I have coffee with my patient. Usually just coffee, heavy cream and a pack of splenda. After that I usually go to the gym around lunch and dont have lunch around 2:00pm. If i dont have time to go to the gym, I do have lunch at 12:30p.

Nope you're totally right. I was just wondering. My BF was wondering the same thing as well since we're both on Carb nite and we still have so much fat in our body. We've seen the results page on this forum and there weren't a lot of bigger people like us on the results page. But it doesn't hurt to ask questions right? 🙂 Thanks for the positive words 🙂

I think that could just be a case of people not showing their results because of shyness or not reaching their "ideal" body, etc.. It will take awhile, just keep on keepin on! Try to resist the urge to tweak things to get better gains, if you're still progressing!

SaraParticipantWow, I don't feel like those are little changes at all! Your waist looks a lot smaller and you look tighter overall. I think sometimes we don't see the changes in ourselves as much because they are gradual, but I bet that if you ran into someone who hadn't seen you in a while you'd be getting tons of compliments!

case terrebonneParticipantbig difference between the two pics, keep up the great work! I know myself I was 6' 308 4 months ago. Last week before the vacation protocol I was 242. his morning about 246. (still dropping the water I was holding). If you are like me you will get to a point where you'll plateau a bit but just keep doing what you are doing. My plateau was in the 250's for about 3 weeks or so. For me, this diet is permanent due to my body not being able to tolerate carbs for more than a day or two. When I was 308 my liver enzymes were elevated, blood sugar was 180 with out meds, cholesterol was horrible, triglycerides were 400, had a fatty liver, BP was high. I was pretty much on borrowed time at 27. Now, I am off all the meds and feel great! and all my labs are in the norm.
