The pros: Wheat raises blood sugar as high as anything on the planet with the exception of tapioca starch.The cons: Seems to be very inflammatory--this is the part I'm wondering about.-Adam
I don't think gluten slows fat loss, just masks it IF you are prone to bloating from it. Unless its pasta, I don't bloat, so I don't avoid pizza and doughnuts.
Spuey is right, it wont slow fat loss providing you don't have an intolerance to it.The bloat time will vary person to person depending on tolerance level.
I didnt think i wheat intolerent and did my first carb nite last nite and started with oats and berries then ezekiel bread I bloated like mofo and then at dinner had 2 wheat rolls and was in pain the ride home.
