ShawnC926KeymasterHi I had a few question.. While I am incorporating more HIIT into my morning cardio sessions, I am doing so rather liberally because I am concerned with the HIIT sessions effecting my performance in the gym in the afternoon/evenings. I know that steady state cardio is severely frowned upon around these parts, so my question is, is it beneficial to fat burning to elevate my activity levels throughout the morning/low carb portion of the day? Until recently, I have been doing alot of walking around during my “fasted state” while I was following an intermittent fasting protocol. In fact I was actually walking on a treadmill at an incline in inclement weather… But I was hoping that I could continue to just be very active during the similar scenario that CBL provides and still enhance my fat burning during the morning/low-carb portion of the day. This does not involve any form of steady-state-cardio for that matter… I do alot of walking around, shoot baskets at the basketball gym, do physical chores, etc. Thanks in advance for some guidance!!

Regular everyday tasks (e.g. chasing after a toddler, chores, shooting hoops) totally fine. Doing fast jumping jacks to rev yourself up just because you feel like it, also totally fine.Walking: good. Keeping "active" rather than sitting at a desk all day: very good.Jogging/running on a treadmill for while: not good. That's all you need to know!

ShawnC926GuestAwesome! So basically as I figured so. Appreciate your response and I think everybody should be excited about the fact that they can actually promote fat loss just by doing things they already love to do! I know I am ;D
