Brian M EckstromParticipantis anybody familiar with this program? it seems like he does a heavy barbell lift, followed by some higher rep dumbbell work, followed by “resistance cardio”.. i.e. incline 4×3, incline db press 3×8, pushups amap. from the brief little bit i've read, it seems like the premise is similar to kiefer's “anabolic cardio” where you're increasing the mitochondrial density in the muscle to make it grow bigger than it could have otherwise. i love watching elliots stuff on youtube, but idk, $77 seems like a lot for a training program!

Trevor G FullbrightModeratorI actually have the program. I got a whole bundle with all his stuff mostly because I wanted to support him. It's a good program, though I'd change where he places the cardio.

TCBParticipantIf you're wanting to increase mitochondrial density, pick whatever lifting program you like, and add in HIIT.This gets somewhat science-y on it..https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/ben-pakulski-podcast-muscle/id725296816?mt=2Episodes 6 and 7, specifically.

His general recommendation to lose weight is a "clean paleo" diet.Lean meats, veggies, avoid starch. For the general population that's great, but I wouldn't listen to him for weight loss.

bigguyskyMemberI thought he had a diet for the lean hybrid muscle plan. The last video I saw of him talking diet seemed good. He just essentially combines intermittent fasting, anabolic diet and a low fat high protein alternation through the week.

David M PopeParticipantHis diet for it is kind of *sporadic. I'm sure it works to some degree. He has days of fasting, days of feasting, days where you literally just eat carbs. I feel like it's a very unsustainable way to live…but it'd be worth a shot if you wanna try it. I can't imagine it would mess you up or set you back… *I mean this with no disrespect to him. He has reasonings behind each of his daily meal recommendations... It just seem like each of his days has a different goal, which it kind of does in his program.Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
