Sunday will be day 10 of my Prep Phase, then I will begin Density Bulking. I will be training using Mass Made Simple by Dan John. One of the main components of the workouts is high reps squats. My question is: should I do the first workout Sunday afternoon then back load after to end my prep phase (I am concerned about intense training while totally glycogen depleted), or back load sunday evening without training and start the workouts Monday afternoon?
I would always want to backload before high rep squats.Just make sure you use mostly starchy stuff and don't go bat shit on sunday night.I'd totally go batshit after sqauting though.
Or ease in to your workout regimen this time and backload after so prep phase is done done and go ape shit on carbs next time… Either way you should be fine so it's up to you
