Hey guys! I'm Judy – 41 year old female powerlifter. Heard about CBL through Julia Ladewski and thought I'd give it a try. As a scientist myself I really loved the book and the science makes so much sense that I wonder why on earth somebody didn't come up with this sooner! I've been lurking (mostly) pretty much all weekend. Bought the CBL book about 17 days ago, finished the 10day prep phase and have finished my first week of backloading. Its been interesting - its certainly nice to be able to have those lovely carby treats after lifting without the guilt!I'm looking to lean down - currently lifting in the SHW class (BW ~228) but I'm hoping to get down to the 181 class. I'm not rushing to get there - want to do this right. My coach and I have put competing on hold for awhile to focus purely on leaning me out and hopefully keeping me strong. I'll be honest, he has his doubts about this plan, so I'm kind of excited to prove him wrong!Started a log this morning where I'll be tracking both my training and my meals so any and all input/advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
