Hi all, I apologize before hand for the possibly stupid question. Due to work I had a extremely low carb period where I dropped about 4 pounds- according to the delta chart this should be about 362g to maintain and more to gain. However I am trying to reach a lean 240 which equates too 840g of carbs in the chart below the delta chart. As you can see this is quite a large difference and I am not quite sure which one to shoot for during my Backloads. I am currently 228lb around 14% bodyfat I believe and doing the SA program as closely as I possibly can.Q2. The book says after a few days off where you are ULC you should do a backload before you train. How many days would you say this is? I.E. Train thursday, off friday and saturday, train sunday. Would I backload saturday to make sure I had enough carbs for sunday? Thank you for any clarification you could give or just simply ideas.

You have the correct idea. The thing is though, since your goal is fat loss don't go crazy on the carbs. Have a nice dinner and maybe a small decent dessert. If that. I mean if it is fat loss while muscle gain could just go ULC for those 2 days and wait to backload till Sunday evening
