PythonDaveKeymasterOk, I have my first carb-nite Wednesday! I'm soo excited. I've lost 10 pounds in the prep phase. Probably mostly water weight, but still first time under 240 lbs since two-a-days Football season my Sophomore Year of HS. (I am 23, Male, 6'4″)My question: what are some of your favorite foods to eat on your carb-nite? I really want to enjoy it, yet get all the necessary nutrients to maximize results.NOTE: my workout will end around 8 o'clock, and I try to be in bed by 11 pm. (wake up at 7 am), so in order for me to hit my carb goal, I was thinking about adding some WaxyMaize to my post-workout shake, what do you guys/girls think about that?EDIT: I've read somewhere else in the forum people were suggesting pushing Carb-Nites to the weekends for people who work out late. since I only have a 3-4 hour window before bed, would it be beneficial to push my first one back to Saturday/Sunday so I can maximize the timing, and be able deplete my carb-stores mid week? (I workout 5 days a week).

That's a great idea, and since you have a short window i would also put some in your beverage of choice if you are able too. Turnovers were my favorite and easy to eat a lot of ... Along with Cookies/Ice Cream 🙂Cheers!

Eric ShawMemberI would just do dextrose in your shake, and eat turnovers.
