ralph fernandezMemberHi Guys, last night was my first backload and i did my late night training because of time constraints. Did everything according to plan accept i didn't follow the eating pattern for a 9pm training routine. did ulc all day no issues i ate a roasted chicken for dinner then 1/2 hr before work out had pre work out shake. after work out which was 1am i did post work out shake and waited 1hr and ate 2 apple turnovers, some conn raisin bread and obj on white bread with some more chicken and pork fried rice. then realized before bed which was now 3am to down another shake. was hesitant to do the shake as i was stuffed but i did one. was up like 2.25 pounds this morning and just wanted to know if this is normal. the other thing is that i am doing for strength and body fat loss. i have lost 70 pounds doing hcg over three ago and have maintained this but now wanted to build muscle so i started lifting about three months ago and fell in love with it. i have been working out like 6 days a week and also doing hiit just about every workout along with weight training. can you give me a base work out schedule that i should focus on. i like going to gym everyday 6 days a week and need advice. should i cut back on the days?

Your weight gain is normal. Whenever you refill glycogen, you will gain water weight with it. Working out 6 days a week is fine, but your backloads are going to have to be modest since it is only 6 days per week.Personally, I do five major workouts per week and 2 small workouts where I do abs and small muscles that need extra work. What does your current split look like now?

ralph fernandezMembersun chest/hiit 21 minmon arms/abstue rest/ 1hr cardio intervalwed backthu shoulders/ hiit 21 minfri legs/abssat offi really want to just build muscle and loose the bf currently at 20%. Since i started i was 158lbs and now I'm 170lbs and my waist is definitely smaller so i am glad my pants still fit looser. Thats why i am not so concerned about the scale but it still is something that freaks me out because this is the heaviest i have been in 3 yrs weight wise but my pants still are the loosest they have ever been. i am really new to this so i don't have these amazing routines or work outs but I'm trying to just stay consistent and keep improving every week.
