I am currently taking the soft gel fish oil which is is a 1000 mg per pill. On the container it states to not to take more than one a day. With Kiefer's recommendation of taking 15g a day, I wondered would it be OK to take 15 of these pills? And how would a person take them(timing)?

I am not sure of Kiefers recommendation but I know of others like Poliquin that say it is best to spread them out. Also in Biojacked 2 the guest said he takes more fish oils when he consumes more Omega 6 containing foods.

i thought kiefer suggested aiming for 5g of DHA/EPA combined. So it depends on the quality of your product. Not all fish oil is the same.  Poor quality fish oil uses cod liver oil and its concentration of omega 3 is low.

True.Look up the amount of EPA/DHA in the product. With the fish oil I take, I need to take 5 caps to get about 1.5g of omega-3s.

Many of the Omega supps out there are dosed like this. The one's I use are the same, I usually take between 5 to 8 caps per meal, coming out to around 5 to 6 grams per day.

I believe he says, at least 5g, but I wouldn't overally concern myself w/ going higher. I would first find the highest quality fish oil, and then go from there if you wanted to up the doseage.

I'm sure 9g is good. I wouldn't push it past 5g to be honest. However I never really heard of any one stating it's bad to go over 5g

In the “Lift Run Bang” podcast Keifer states that taking up to 60g a day is beneficial! http://www.4shared.com/mp3/bWogZUYg/CNBYE_-_Carb_Backloading_Editi.html

I take about 8g of EPA/DHA a day, I'm not sure how much total “omega 3 fat” it is.I've taken up to 15 a day, though that gets expensive pretty quick.

Yeah it does. I had to cut back to taking 6x a day because of the price.
