jrussoMemberYes, I understand completely what you are saying. I am just confused because I do have the skinny fat thing going on which I hate. Cookie said that I should focus more on building muscle and not fast anymore. I dont know which way to go, I really dont think that I have much muscle...
So, I had the following today, 3 eggs scrambled in beef fat with 3 slices of Canadian bacon. This was at 10:30AM.At noon I had one chicken thigh in 1 tbsp. of butter.Tonight for dinner, I had 3 burger patties with three slices of cheese on top.I believe this is about 1,600 calories or so. Does this look like a good break down or still too much? I feel a little bit hungry right now, I am going to try not to eat anymore tonight...

Well heres thing, first I have now way of knowing how much or how little muscle you have only you do. If you feel you are skinny fat, then you need to prioritize what you feel is most important to you, losing fat, or building muscle. The honest answer is, doing CNS you shouldn't expect to build much muscle, especially being a girl, maintaining muscle and strength are the main benefits of CNS versus other diets. Although SOME people can build muscle on CNS, that is going to be rare, especially for a woman. So, assuming you are taking in fats, i.e. 1 tbsp C-oil and HWC within the 12 hour window since last meal, fasting from whole foods for another 4 hours is not going to make lose any muscle, on the converse, say you eat a whole foods meal at the 12 hour mark every day on the dot, I can pretty much guarantee this will not cause an increase in muscle gain either. If building muscle is truly imporant to you then I would say say switch to CBL SA or DB and just live with a little extra body fat for about the next 3-6 months and see if you can pack another 5-10lbs of soild muscle.'I can sympathize with the skinny fat and how frustrating it can be, because currently I weight ~175lbs @15% bf at 6' tall, and I would love to ripped, but If I dieted down to 6-8% bf I would only weight around 158lbs @ 6' tall, and I don't want to look like Tom Hanks in Philadelphia, lol. My original goal on this round of CNS was to go from ~17-18% down to 15%, which I have accomplished, then work on packing on another 10-15lbs of muscle then cut again on CNS down to 170-175 below 10% BF, then start bulking again.

d3spwnParticipantWhat other foods are you thinking? I will try to just have eggs and bacon for breakfast and other foods for lunch and dinner. Should I aim for 1,600 calories to start to see if that does anything for me? I guess I should be aiming for 130/130 for P:F ratio?
Reading your original post (and excuse me if I'm being presumptuous) led me to believe there is a psychological component to your problem. You don't have to eat other food; I just think it will help you enjoy eating more and make it easier to cut calories. What you eat is up to you, but there are loads of different meats and vegetables out there to try :).I don't know how much calories to shoot for. Maybe someone else can answer that question for you.
