Thought I would say hi after lurking around for a few months. I have been following (roughly) CBL for 3 months using mostly kettlebells and convict conditioning strength program with good results. I do around 45mins training in the evenings 6 days per week as per the solitary confinement plan.Currently 43yo 80kg 178cm ~12%BF.I'm approaching my "on" season of MTB XC racing and would like to still keep to the CBL principals, as they fit my lifestyle so well. However, I hope to open a dialog about my cycling training and its impact on CBL. I know any sort of SS endurance is discouraged in the book.My goal is to not really gain mass, but strength and I'd like, for once in my life, to get down into single digit BF%. In years gone by, no matter how much riding I did, and I did alot, 13% was my lowest!Seems like a great community and look forward to joining the discussion a bit more ๐Ÿ™‚cheers

thanks for the warm welcome ๐Ÿ™‚Fairy, I'm following the same philosophy as per your profile. Been having BP coffee for about 6 months, paleo for years, no gluten for years. Still like yogurt and cheese thoย  ๐Ÿ˜ฎThe one big struggle I had moving to CBL was the extreme volume of carbs.. compared to what I had been doing I had no choice but to include "dirty" carb sources that I have not touched for years.. bowls of ice cream, cakes, pizza. My max is still only about 300g carbs a day. My kids seem happy with dad eating this stuff, I struggle with the mixed message of what I've followed for years and what I need to do to get the carbs.Just wondering how BP coffee fits in with the 2 tbsp butter and MCT oil.. I havnt read any negatives so have continued with it during my ~12 hour IF part of the day.
