I usually do a custom mix from TN but with the holidays coming up and a week long vacation I'm taking, money is tighter than ever, so I was thinking of just getting the gemma to save on cost.I did a search and I see Kiefer does like it. I know animal proteins are better, but I just want to double check with this to make sure it's not garbage. It won't be a permanent switch, so I'm not too worried, just for this batch.

Make sure you get double flavor. It's gnarly

It does have a very earthy taste. It also thickens quite substantially, perhaps even more so than casein. Just keep that in mind when deciding how much water to mix with.

Supposedly, it's a good idea to get a flavor with either chocolate or cream in it.I ended up getting 70% pea 30% rice mix, chocolate banana (double flavor).Mixed with water and some heavy cream is totally fine, mixed with unsweetened almond milk is actually really good.

Thanks guys.I ended up just sucking it up and getting my regular custom mix lol. I'm sure I'm just splitting hairs but I couldn't pull the trigger on the gemma. The cost is really attractive though and maybe I'll try it out in the future. Not being a bodybuilder/powerlifter I'm sure I wouldn't notice a huge difference.
