    so let me get this rigth, after my heavy work out I have a PWO shake with lests say 1-2 banana;s in it, then an hour later I can have a bacon, egg,cheese on a hard roll with home fries and a bowel of ice cream, is that it for the night, if I don't want to bulk up do I eat any more before I go to bed  thanks quietman

    For the first meal after the workout (that's not including your shake) I'd stick to as low fat as possible. Get some sticky rice or baked potato in you with a nice lean protein source.Then a couple hours later have a second meal which can be a desert or more junky foods like donuts etc. You don't HAVE to use junk foods but often people who don't get too concerned about fat in the later part of the backload see the best results.

    I don't even think ice cream could make a bowel taste good!  @quietman you will most likely need more carbs, it depends on the amount of muscle you have and the amount of volume you are doing.  It lays it out in the book.  If you don't have it, buy it.

    People see better results with relatively fattier foods in their second meal?If so, Any reason why, or just from peoples experiences?keifer wrote an article about this not long ago. i think its called macronutrient conversion or something like that. giant jacked guy is on the picture for the article. i think its more to do wih the fact that you dont need to do fattier foods, you just can without much consequence. more important that the cleaner foods are in the first meal

    ditch the bananas with dextrose or waxy maizeCheers
