    I searched glutamine beforehand and found a thread http://dangerouslyhardcore.com/forum/index.php?topic=2753.msg30157#msg30157However, there hadn't been any discussion since July and there seemed to be mixed responses as to its usefulness. I thought I would bring it back up to see if anyone had heard anything about whether or not to include glutamine into CNS? Thanks!

    I've been using Glutamine for years.  I dose ~10g pre-workout and post-workout.The body can produce it, so some consider it useless to supp with, however, active people burn through it quite fast... whereas inactive types have a surplus.  Some of the benefits of Glutamine supplementation:- it increases the level of Leucine in muscle fibers.- since the immune system needs Glutamine to function, supplementing with it prevents the immune system from stealing it from muscle fibers.- taken pre-workout, it can decrease muscular fatigue, and boost GH levels.  This also makes it perfect for post-workout and pre-bed.Cory

    Cory what do u think about dosing higher? I ask b/c ive heard that a dose les than 15g or so will exclusively go to the stomach?Think it was a will brink i saw on that...i could probably find it again on yutube.

    Never tried a higher dose.  I just go by the dose I've always taken, which was advised by science writer Jim Stoppani and trainer Hany Rambod (FST-7 fame).Cory

    +1Why the fuck would I want my immune system robbing my muscles?  LOL.I can give the immune system what it wants via supplementation, and get huge too.  8)Cory

    Ever since I read John Meadows talking about how glutamine is needed to get leucine into the cell, I put some 10g into my post-workout shake along with all the other goodies. It's also very good for the immune system and for intestinal health, so if you're a little challenged in those areas, I'd say go for it.

    This, among other reasons for supping it.  I mentioned all of it above.Though, I do ~10g before and after workouts.Cory
