Hey guys…Those of you who backload gluten free and don't bake your own stuff.. what brand or specific gluten free products (cookies, cakes, muffins.. anything) do you get?I looked through the gluten free section at Whole Foods and most of it was really expensive and high in fat. Are there any gluten free store bought goodies that are easier on the pocket?

Sadly, no.It's all kinda high priced.

Van's is decently priced where i shop.. they have french toast, muffins and waffles and such.. all made from various starches.. its decent for backloads.. i generally just make my own stuff or stick with mostly potatoes, rice, and dextrose as its much cheaper.. oh Aleia's makes a great almond cookie called Almond Horns

Totally, I'm relying almost exclusively on rice and sweet potatoes. Right now it's actually been rice only. But sometimes, I feel like having something sweet or just want to have a "dessert".I frequently have rice with maple syrup and almond milk for my second meal, but sometimes I want something "dirtier", haha..Thanks for the tips, I'll check them out.

Why not bake your own? It's not hard, can be fun and you know EXACTLY what you're eating then! ๐Ÿ˜€

;DBoth of those brands are carried by Whole Foods. I wonder, if they are one of the expensive ones I have seen there. Will check again. The almond cookies look delicious!

Aleia's brand makes some cookies that are good. The almond horns are great. They can be pricey though.

Bisquick has really good GF pancake mix for roughly the same price as their regular pancakes. Pretty good pizza crust recipe on the back as well.

I tend eat a lot of potatoes and rice for backloads, but when I want treats I like to eat cereal and ice cream. Nature's Path makes a bunch of GF cereals, and they have bulk sized bags for good prices. They have versions of Corn Pops, Honey-Nut Corn Flakes and other sweet type cereals that are all GF.
