RaidhoMemberHi!Short version:28 years. Male. Wanna be ripped and muscular. Doing CNS+SW/ CBL+ SWHD. Swede.Have posted some questions the last two weeks or so, but I thought I might actually properly introduce myself. My 28th birthday is this Saturday, and since 28 is close to 30, I thought stepping it up before things (building an awe-inspiring physique) gets really tough! So, male, soon to be 28, born and living in Sweden. A trained actor, working part-time in a restaurant. Grew up as a fat kid. Found Body for Life at the age of 16. Lost a bunch of weight and started weighttraining."Whoa man, I don't think I have ever seen your ribs!" - said to me by a friend of mine in the shower after some martial arts-practise.As I said, I lost a lot of weight really fast, ah the hormonal golden age of puberty...Since then, not much has happened in the the real of body-recomp. During this time I got a lot of concerned comments from my (somewhat overweight) family and relatives about me being anorectic.Which I wasn't, just focused on getting in shape. To bad I didn't knew then what I know now about training and nutrition.I was really thin, but didn't have so much muscle.Fast forward to 2007 I started getting comments in the lockerroom from my fellow actor-students like "wow man, you gotta stop training, you make the rest of us look like a bag of potato chips" Felt N.I.C.E.Then I was at about 12-14 % BF.Have been doing Martin Berkhans Leangains protocol since 2007. Love IF. Found DH about a month ago. Love it even more. Although, now I'm not so pleased with how I look. I tend to binge and due to some injuries I have suffered the last couple of years, I have plateued in my training. Shoulder-dislocations and pulled hamstrings in both legs. Also finding the girl of my life in 2010 has led to a little weightgain, since she is naturally ripped with a metabolism of a freaking horse! Not a good combination. So my goal for this year is to return to my former state of "None-bag-of-potato-chips'ism" and surpass it!As an actor this is important for me. Especially in front of the camera, you really gain 5-10 kg's!When I meet fellow actors in real life, whom I've seen on TV or film, I'm always shocked at how thin they are!! But they look normal (Scandinavian normal) on screen. It's a sick business, but since I can't use it, I might as well use it as a motivator!I want to get down around 8-10 % BF depending on where I'm pleased. And I also want to gain muscle, especially in my shoulder/rear delt area! And having thick underarms would be awesome.I plan on doing this with bouts of CNS+ SW regular, and CBL+ SW HD.I'm picturing myself starring in an adaptation for the screen of my favourite fantasy-novel, where there´s lot's of badass huge and ripped guys. Did I mention I'm a nerd? That's it for this rather long-winded introduction.

Ha ha, what a coincidence Gibdan! How do you find Kiefers methods compared to Martins?Personally I belive I myself is still on a level where less frequent carbloads and more depleting training then low-volume HIT training will work better for me in a fatloss/muscle-maintainence perspective. Also, Kiefers take on 12-14 hours fasting I think works better for me since at 16 hour mark my mTor signalling is definitly shut down. Compared to now, I'm building muscle way easier. (maybe this is just mental, since I haven't been on CBL/CNS for that long yet) Everyone is different!

BodynsoilParticipantWelcome, I was researching renegade before deciding to try CBL, then went with CNS.. The most radical of the threeSent from my DROID4 using Tapatalk 2

GibdanMemberI am still working the kinks out but my muscles feel fuller. Seems to stand out more. Energy is great. Meal timing is better. More suited to my lifestyle. I break my fast at 12-13 hours. Prior to that I still have a coffee with mct at 9 hours cause that's when I wake. Suggested it doesn't break the fast and helps release the fat for burning. I'm still learning and its a great change of pace. Everything about it is like an experiment and you are the lab rat on maximising your potential. lg just felt very... Restricted I suppose. Each to their own.
