John LaPlaca JrMemberHello everyone,This is kind of a odd question..... so I occasionally work a second job as a bouncer at a bar. This Saturday is my first CN and I might have to take a shift to help out. Would it make any type of difference if I have my CN (3-10pm) but yet I am up until 3:30am? I told myself this time around I won't let myself over think the little things but not sure how this would go. I have done CBL where I backloaded and I was fine working the night job. Thoughts?? THank you.

Richard SchmittModeratorNo wouldn't hurt. Might get kinda tired just standing there with a belly full of carbs.

That's what I am kinda worried about. The good thing is I won't over do it knowing I have to work but I also like relaxing the rest of the evening when I do a CN. I was also thinking of extenting the reorientation period to one more day or shorten one day and have it Friday. Thanks for your input Tex.

RoadblockParticipantWhy not just munch from 9pm until around 2am and then your done? You don't need to get it over with earlier in the day. At least not as far as I know.RB

This is how I'd do it. But if this isn't an option because of the working environment, I'd just have your 3-10 CN, go to work, then at like 12/1 have another fat/protein meal.

But if it's a CN then just have a few bags of candies, jellybeans, etc. in your pockets and chow down over a few hours. It isn't the same meals that you would have if you were home but it is a 1 off and it will do the job.RB

GonnaBeGiantMemberIt wouldn't hurt to push the CN back a day as well, that way you can enjoy it more.

John LaPlaca JrMemberTurns out they don't need me this weekend so I will be able to enjoy a normal CN. Moving forward, I think I will push it back to Sunday when I have to work on Saturday nights.

When I use a lot of sugar on CN I always feel awful. I am going to be a lot "cleaner" this time around so I don't think that would be ideal. I don't think it would be a bad idea for the end of the CN while working but I wouldn't want to base my whole CN around them.
