SO going on almost 2 months eating this way. have yet to see the results i want but I am starting to understand some of the things I was doing wrong. The main things I have questions about know is head aches I am getting mild head aches now that I am doing two weeks without carbs. The extended period is helping I am actually trimming weight at about 2 lbs over the past week to today. experiencing a slight uptick at the moment but I think that is gain from weights. Has any one found any thing that helps when they get head aches when in keytosis what is my diet lacking. Also kale I have seem some contradictory reports about the net carbs in kale I am currently using the 1.25 net carbs per OZ for kale is this correct??
Headaches are normal, at least in a sense, increase your dietary fats, like: CO, MCT Oil, Butter, Animal Fats, etc. This will help, the kale isn't a need but could help be that shuttle for fats like butter.
interesting how the more detailed break down of the carbs differs from the basic one that is a full gram per oz different. I wish it was the other number of just 1 carb per oz. I love a big kale salad. I will use the latter of 2 carbs per oz just to be safe from now on.
