Help! ..I’m Shrinking.

    Before, I was doing CBL:SA and mostly maintaining my body fat..i was gaining size and strength though. I did skip the prep phase. So I then decided to do it.. 10 days without carbs. I lost 14 lbs in that 10 days.. going from 18 inch arms to 17 1/2.. it thought it would come back because my glycogen was empty.. So I got back into CBL:SA a lot stricter with my diet than before and switched from a 4 day to a 3 day training split…. Yes I am losing weight but I feel as If my muscle is going away.. my arms are now 17 inches. ..starting to feel helpless here..like the only way I can be big is if i'm fat too. Anyone got any tips or explanations why this could be happening?.. its quite frustrating.. like i'm taking 1 step forward then 2 steps back..

    How do you look? Have you took any pictures to compare?

    no pics yet.. I'm happy cause I'm losing body fat but not because im losing size everywhere.. I mean losing an inch is frustrating especially since you worked hard for it.. BAM!.. 2 weeks its gone..

    It sounds like you are in a constant glycogen debt.Whats your training and diet look like?

    Mon – Chest/Bi'sTue- offWed-Shoulders/Tri'sThur-offFri- Back/legsSat/Sun-offI wake up around 8/9 drink coffee and dont eat till 12.. from 12-5 ill eat four chicken breasts and 2 stalks of celery.I work out at 5.. then backload at 630 usually with a box of turnovers/a bowl of fruity pebbles/ pizza/ food from Sonic's. not all in 1 night.. i mix and match.. and take some isopure (50g protein) right before bed)Off days are about the same just without the junk food..What is this "glycogen debt you speak of?

    Not getting enough glycogen to fill your stores. It sounds like you might just be a little low on food in general. How long is your fast in the morning?

    Sorry and also.. If i lost 10-14 lbs on my prep phase.. about how many carbs do u think would be safe for me to eat if i want 2 pack on muscle and lose body fat?

    It's all trial and error. No one can give you an exact number, everyone is different.If you're losing size and not feeling stronger then eat more carbs. If you start getting fat, reduce your carbs. It's a learning process that everyone has to go through.

    One problem is your calories are to low.  I eat chicken too but only when I have nothing else in the house.  Switch that chicken to steak/ground beef or do half chicken and beef.  Also have a little butter with your veggies and you should be ok on one meal.Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2

    You're always depleted. But I agree with what has been said, it sounds like you calories just might be to low.It's hard to tell without knowing what the macros are, it might be worth you tracking so you can see if you're undereating.

    well im trying to get enough protein in without hurting my wallet..and my heart or kidneys.. would hamburger patties be safe? i would have to eat 4.. but they have 30 grams of fat in them. will this eventually hurt me health wise? like high cholestrol or death? thats what everyone is warning me about.. how much fat do you recommend i take in?

    If it's shitty meat then it might not be good, but saturated fat is not bad for you. If you want to eat chick throw some butter on that shit. Or on the veggies. Veggies are simply vessels for fat. And protein wont hurt your kidneys unless you are already dealing with kidney failure. Don't listen to people that say it's bad, they are stupid.I eat shit tons of beef and butter and I'm healthier then everyone I know that avoids it.

    so I can eat the same chicken breasts..just smother it in butter? how many grms of fat u recommend?
