help please new to cbl

    Hey everyone just wondering if I could get some advice?I'm 22 years old, 5'7 and 150lbs I'm currently looking to bulk My current history is recovered anorexic started at 5.5stone and am now roughly 10.3stone I am now looking to use cbl to help gain lean mass One question I have is about sugar in the evenings of cbl - can I eat things that have glucose syrup andor fructose glucose?Also for the dirtier part of the cbl I was wondering if I can eat these things Chocolate croissantsApple strudelOreoPop tart Costco pastries like Danish swirls Frosted flakes Any other favourites people like?

    -Most of us will advise you to limit the fructose all together and absolutely avoid high fructose corn syrup (HFCS).  -Glucose syrup?  if you mean corn syrup than yes that is ok, - As for the above food selections, just read the labels under ingredients ... anything that lists high fructose corn syrup you don't want as a primary source of carbs.  You should still be eating potatoes, rice, and some other clean carbs.

    Thanks for the reply , my meals will revolve around whole foods with some dirtier carbs towards the evening which will mainly be oreos and frosted flakes ...... I have posted my meal plan on the nutrition part if that helps to see what I am looking to eat daily Most of the ingredients I have seen is glucose syrup might be because I'm in UK (London)

    Oh ok, pardon my ignorance.  I can honestly say that I've NEVER seen 'glucose syrup' over here.  haha, that's kind of scary.

    Yea that's what was confusing me lol I was going to just have things like Oreo and maybe the odd cake or dessert so I take it the fresher it is made the less chance of HFCS maybe
