Hey everybody first of all Happy New Year! I hope you all stayed in line with your diets. I sure didn't.Anyways, I was training with the Ice-Cream 5X5 up until last December. I usually did Wed-Fri-Sun. I also played 1hr of 5V5 soccer every Tuesday.  This year I am playing soccer 3 sometimes 4 times a week (tues-wed-thurs). I came from the Holidays on Friday so I did my weight training on Sun as I would normally do. I played soccer yesterday and then again today but today (48hrs after the squats) my legs were completely fried. By the end of the game I was already feeling that they were about to cramp. It also adds that temperatures over here are always above 80 so the level of exhaustion during a game is big. I was thinking of maybe leaving the leg workout for Saturday and then doing an upper body routine on Monday and Thurs. I am no expert on the matter and the last thing I want is to be over-training.What do you guys think?

If you eat accordingly on training days (with weights) and your off days, you'll be fine. Just be sure to get rest as well.

Thanks Tex. I think I am.I am currently at 148lbs, height at 5'9. Guessing by the compared pictures my post Holiday BF is somewhere between 12 and 15.I do about 1,920 cals on non-training days (120F, 180P, 30C) and 2,640 cals on training days (80F, 180P, 300C).Is there any 5x5 routine anyone could recommend for upper body days? I thought of doing the ICE Cream without the Squats, I don't know if that will work.
