I've been reading and lurking for a while and figured I may as well go ahead and make this official.  I've been doing ULC in the form of the 4-Hour Body book -think CNS with slow burn carbs- and had been seeing some good results.  Weight went from 188 to 184 and BF dropped 3% points.  I use the cheap calipers, and we can debate their effectiveness all we want, but a consistent measurement method is all I'm after.  Using the Jackson-Pollok 7 site measurement I started over 12% and am currently at 9.68%.  I suspect if I invested in a more advanced method it would put me around 11%.  I'm currently on day 6 of the 10 day reorientation (broke from the fog phase on Thursday).  My plan is to do CBL-SA.  I stick somewhat to compound lifts; squats, bench, deads, cleans, presses and various accessory work depending on what my body feels like it needs.  I stick to heavy sets 3-5 reps and it's been working great for me so far. I just started the HD protocol so we'll see what that does for a few weeks.Diet has been pretty strong....I've fallen in love with Coconut Oil.  Since before I was eating beans and other slow-burn carbs I'll have to see how my body reacts to ULC, but I don't want to drop much more weight.  I've been feeling pretty good this week.I'm 37, former Marine, hot redhead wife and a smart 13 y/o son (he needs to scholarship his ass through college).  Looking forward to learning from everyone on the boards.

Welcome sir! Just four more days till your CN! Awesome. Planning on starting a log too? I've used the same 7pt method and it's interesting to compare and use. Looking forward to your progress sir
