I have read that Kiefer recommends doing HIIT cardio before weight training however is there anything too terribly bad about doing it post weight training? I follow a 5 day split and would like to get in 3-4 HIIT sessions. Otherwise I would only do the HIIT on weekends (Sat & Sun). Will doing 25 minutes of HIIT cardio have a tremendous impact on muscle growth if done a couple of times per week?
It can cause the “interference effect” which can at least partially negate muscle growth and strength gains.Pre workout or separated is recommend to avoid it.
