I have incorporated HIIT 2x weekly for 15 mins a shot into my ulc week and today was day 4 (CN Sat) and I tried to get to the speed I was doing on Sunday (day after CN) and hold for 2 mins and COULD. NOT. DO IT!!I guess when you guys say two HIIT sessions after the CN you mean in succession? Like day one and two of ulc? Not day one and day 4?Or does it matter where? My strength is not really affected by the ulc ketogenic diet but then I don't go heavy or hard on those. But I tanked the cardio HIIT today, so I guess I should do two days in a row? I thought HIIT was not to be performed two times in a row, but maybe for CNS it is? Thanks for any help on this

Max is two days after a CN. You could just do the one and that's it. Not later in the week.

I do love cardio but am not doing steady state per the book. I would like two HIIT sessions per week so I will do one the morning after CN and the second one the next a.m, thereby getting both in before two days have passed after the insulin spike. Is that correct? Then I'll do the weight training as I go along through the rest of the week.Sound right? (sorry. Need clairification)I just downloaded the shockwave protocol and will take a look at starting that, too. Might as well jump in hook, line and sinker (HA! I just typed "sucker" instead of sinker but maybe I shouldn't delete that?) funny

Insulin spike? You get that from foods not HIIT. You'll do HIIT fasted in the mornings yes. Just 1-2 days post CN.

I used to do HIIT on CN. One on the morning(AM) of my CN, followed by PM training. That may not work for some as I went into CN already lean, and everyone responds different. This all being said though some mid week HIIT doesn't seem like it would do anything beneficial, your already probably depleted, so HIIT isn't doing anything but adding to a (-)kcal total which is not needed. If you want to do 2 sessions a week i would recommend doing them on CN, and the day after, or the two days following.
