I have just complete my 4th week of CBL. I feel stronger and tighter each day but the one thing I consistently experience is hitting a wall at around 3:00 or 4:00 each day. I train in the morning (9:00 am) and enjoy my coffee, cream, and coconut oil in the morning and have a good lunch before opening my business at 2:00. But when 3:00 or 4:00 rolls around I start yawning like crazy. Not a good look for someone trying to talk to customers all day.Does anyone else experience this? And if so what can I do to adjust? I'm trying to figure out if I should try to have more carbs for my backload (currently 200-250g per BL) or less. Thanks.Rich

My sleep has been great. I have been getting a solid 8-9 straight hours of sleep every nite since starting CBL 4 weeks ago. I am going to add more carbs to my backload this week  (300g instead so 200-250g) and see what happens as I work on finding my sweet spot.Rich

You are not alone with this. I have been finding the same thing, except I am lifting at approx 430pm everyday. My sleeping on the other hand is terrible (I am in the process of getting a CPAP machine) so being tired is something I am all too accustomed to lol I do find that after my mid afternoon meal my energy is boosted again, and during my workouts I don't feel sluggish/tired anymore which is my main concern.MB.. get ripped or die trying ..

I would just go down this checklist:1. sleep - you already addressed this2. hydration - drinking enough water daily? .5 oz per pound of body weight, plus 1oz of water per oz of diuretics (like the coffee)3. vitamins & minerals - the kind of carbs we backload with cost your body a lot of nutrients to process.  if you aren't supplementing vitamins & minerals you could be mildly deficient with something your thyroid or adrenals need at that time of day.4. gluten or wheat allergy - just eliminate it for 2 weeksGive that a shot.

If you train in the morning NO coffee with cream / CO in the morning pre-WO. Only black coffee. Post-WO have a shake and a banana, then your lunch. If you feel tired, drink another cup pf coffee. What does your lunch look like?
