I'm unhappy with my current workout routine. I'm thinking about investing in JiM Wendler's 5/3/1 routine. However, I've also read through the ebook but I want more detail before I dive in to those workouts. Does anyone know where I can detailed information on how to use the daily program of shockwave? I don't have an iphone either, just the blackberry. Cheers, Riyan

So should I just follow it in the exact order that he's described it in and even try to do the 'X' level one in the middle of my workout? What about plateaus or should I just follow this program day in and day out on a consistent basis? Riyan

The iPhone app has a bit more detail (I think) than the PDF. I downloaded it and at first glance, the first 5 days of workouts are exactly the same as the PDF, but the app has 21 workouts and is customized by experience and equipment available. The app definitely has a one up on the PDF and I'm hoping they make it available for Android users soon b/c I love having my iPhone handy for a reference.I'd say (like said earlier) run the PDF routine for a couple months and hope for GAIN to do a Shockwave app for Android soon.

I don't have an iphone!!! Well yeah, thanks for that im going to give it a try. It's just that the routine seems so monotonous and I can't keep doing the same routine for more than 2-3 months, even if getting gains I get extremely bored. Thanks though, hopefully they'll come out with one for androids coz im planning on buying one, or maybe ill just buy the iphone. Cheers
