robkat89ParticipantI'm always looking to adapt, and modify my Backloading to render greater results. At this time I usually have 4 "meals" consisting of anywhere from 70-120g of carbs per meal. What do you guys do, and have you noticed better results while doing fewer meals but more quantity, or smaller meals spaced throughout the night!Ready.Set.POLL!

Trevor G FullbrightModeratorGenerally 2 meals. A large dinner, then a dessert type meal. Sometimes I will have a Savory snack as well, like a PB&J sandwich. But not normally.

It's generally 1 meal with 150-200g, and one meal with 50-120g or so, and generally 3 hours apart or so.

robkat89ParticipantHave you ever experimented with smaller more frequent meals? Or have you always done the two meal concept. What do your meals look like? I can imagine like 3 plates of food at both meals hahahah

robkat89ParticipantDang Tex, I think I might give that a try for a month or so. I'm starting P.H.A.T today, so it would only be fitting if i made my backloads PHAT as well!

To be honest I don't worry about it. I just eat till I'm full and eat again when I'm hungry.

GonnaBeGiantMemberI consume a good amount of carbs in my PWO shake, then I have dinner where I'll consume the remaining amount. I do that because carbs are more of a hassle while in school so I want to get them and get out so I can focus on studying and not food. Then before bed I usually have a ULC meal like cottage cheese and whey.

Richard SchmittModeratorAnother reason I do what I do, is because I look and feel better the next morning. Thought that might help with convincing as well.
