pndpmtKeymasterI see that the recommendation around here is to eat a fatty carb meal right before bed to quickly spike insulin and drop it back before GH surge kicks in. My question is does this literally mean as close to bed time as possible? Or can it be a couple hrs beforehand. Disadvantages and advantages of each?Sent from my LG-P769 using Tapatalk 2

Richard SchmittModeratorIt depends in you. If you can eat something right before bed and be fine then go for it. Personally I like to stop eating an hour in half before bed. Sometimes I pass out before that.

I had Tapioca pudding 20 minutes before bed last night and it was awesome lol.It depends on how close your training is to bed time. Sometimes my last meal is an hour before bed and sometimes its literally right before bed. I don't know any scientific disadvantages or advantages but it would make me think you want to supply your body with as much material in your school to feed growth. Going to bed hungry sucks and since its ideal to skip breakfest, having that last meal right before bed will make it a bit easier to go 12 hours or so without a meal when you wake up.
