I'm not understanding the issue. Are you having problems mentally about how much you eat or are you having issues physically. Are you not achieving the results you want?As a few comments, 40g coconut oil seems like a massive amount of oil - but maybe that's normal for CNS? I just switched from CBL and it's not normal for that.A scoop of whey isolate seems like a lot at one time as well - it would spike your insulin at the wrong time, unless you're having it post-workout and even then I think it's supposed to be limited to 10-20g.When you say you ate all day long, are you saying that you're not starting in the evening around 6pm?Yes, it seems like a huge CN, but that's not bad if things are going great for you. I can eat just as much so you're not alone!

MaxeeeGuestI just dont want to eat too much to possibly gain fat at carb nite. physically/ mentally I feel fine.I just want to do everything possible to shed the pounds quickly...so whey isolate spikes insulin? (oh, ok, when I said scoop I meant around 10-15 g) I thought, because its only protein, that would not be a problem, thats why I take it sometimes as a lunch substitute.I try to eat more fat than protein, to keep head aches at bay (and not to overdo it on my kidneys etc). the last time I ate a lot of protein and not much fat, I felt horrible.I started at 3 pm and ended my CN at 8, so that should be fine.

My scoop has 30g so that's why I was asking and I only take it PWO.I try to eat more fat than protein, to keep head aches at bay (and not to overdo it on my kidneys etc). the last time I ate a lot of protein and not much fat, I felt horrible. <----I wasn't meaning it's too much fat, I have 100+ grams on most days - it just seems like a lot at one time, but maybe you spread it out...honestly I don't know if it's an issue, was just commenting.I started at 3 pm and ended my CN at 8, so that should be fine. <---according to what I know from a CBL background, later in the day is better, but if things are going great and you're losing weight then I don't see any problems. If you're not seeing the weight loss, you'd want to back off.

tbrown1025MemberThere's no “limit” really; I've asked bc I can go overboard on carbs as well. But from what I've been reading, girls really do have to pay attention and can't be as “free” as the males. That sucks. ::)Honestly, the answers I've gotten while trying to decide what it too much and what is not enough is to "tweak" the diet as you go --- trial and error. That seems like it could take forever, making both CNS and CBL not quite as simple as it's marketed. Take my words with a grain of salt though -- I've only just started CNS: 2nd carb nite tomorrow. And I've lost nothing on the scale, in my clothes, or in the mirror. :- All this to say: I'm right here with ya.

CmoMemberI think we are limited anyhow by how much we can actually even eat. I was aiming for 400 g last night, for carb nite, but honestly once I got around 250 g, I could not eat more, I went to bed with a belly ache. And that was starting at 4. By 8, I choked down some ice cream, and didn't even enjoy it. So, I'd say we're limited by what we can even take in.
