ronald prasekParticipantIm 5'8″ 165 currently at 11% bf, i have been back at CBL SA for the last 3 weeks and holding at 11%. I did CN for 5 months previous to getting back at CBL to get to 11%. My goal is to get under 10% and keep muscle that i have or gain some gradually. Im not in a rush but just curious on thoughts. Im currently keeping pretty clean with white rice, bagels, potatoes in BLs going anywhere from 200g to 275g in BL. Just wondering if this looks good or anyone has any similar experiences with goals similar

Trevor G FullbrightModeratorIt's completely individual.Start wherever you feel is best but keep track and adjust as needed.

I back load about 25% of my calories from carbs, but I am also a few pounds lighter than you at 5'8" 157lbs and 11% bf been losing about a pound a week with a 3500 weekly calorie deficiet, and my lifts are going up.

ronald prasekParticipantThanks Nick, I have been hovering around 3000 cal 40% carbs 30 protein 30 fat. Basically hanging around 80 g of fat 200 g of protein and 250 g of carbs. I'm in the middle of MI40 now so it's more of a hypertrophy type training I am definitely seeing the difference in my muscles now, it's just that the fat loss has stalled out but definitely not gaining any fat. Not complaining at all just seeing if anyone have any tweaks for ideas. On a ULC day though those macros obviously change percentages. I have gained 4 pounds in the last three weeks which is good because the fat has stayed the same Percentagewise and mirror wiseSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

HarryAinslieParticipantI did CBL before Christmas and got great strength results, training at 7:30am 5 mornings per week. Bench went up to 180kg, I was loving it. Did Carb Nite over Christmas and now getting back onto CBL tomorrow. My Baseline Carbs from doing 10 day prep phase says i'm on 1,000g Carbs. Am I right in thinking this is to be shared amongst my training days? So if i train 5 days per week then i have 200g Carbs per backload....

1000g is you estimated max glycogen storage capacity, not a number to use for daily carbs.Splitting it between sessions can be used, but it should only be used as a start. Depedning on your training you may well need more carbs.
