How much butter are you putting in your morning coffee? The Bulletproof one states up to 80g! That seems A LOT to me. Anyone using that kind of quantity? Just wondering what the optimum is. I've been using about 15g myself, with 1 tablespoon of MCT oil.

Yeah I know that, a tbsp is that or thereabouts. My question was about butter.

Why not? Just MCT alone, or cream or something else instead of butter?

Most will do just CO or MCT oil.It really just depends on the rest of the diet and the goals one has.

Why would you NOT have butter with coffee to hit your daily fat macros though? Is there a reason you'd want to avoid butter in coffee when Kiefer advocates its use with food? Is it something to do with the timing in the morning?

Like I said, it depends on the rest of your diet.If you are eating lots of fatty meats you wont need the butter to get fat, if you eat lean meats it's probably a good idea.

1-2 tablespoons of butter…. I hold-off on the MCT oil until my second cup of the day, lately, in order to avoid the nutrient-signaling that Kiefer has mentioned can come from MCT oil in the mornings…. thus trying to extend my morning fat-burning period.  Not sure if it impacts of not, just my current attempt based on what I've heard/read.
