Hello,Trying to find answers on if I should eat carbs after HIIT on a day when I DONT do any weightlifting. Kiefer doesn't really mention anything about this in the book. So should I eat carbs after HIIT and if so, how much?
Kiefer says not to. I recently started having a shake w/ carbs after HIIT but only when the HIIT involves heavy movements. In this case, I do 20-30g of dextrose.
This is great information. On off-days, how come you stick to low carb (<30g I guess) during the day and no carbs in the evening. Why not spread it out? It sounds kind of reversed compared to back-loading days…all carbs in the evening.
If you backload every day then you are density bulking. I assumed that you were on strength accumulation. If not backload every day but keep it clean on cardio/off days. Also reading the book is always a great idea.
