Richard SchmittModeratorI know this may seem like an honestly stupid thing to ask BUT I was in need of opinions and help. I have a Pro Scale that I purchased from True Nutrition a while back. I've been using it for sometime now but never thought I might have been using it correctly. The measurements it reads for grams is .00g. On the box is states 100g x .01. I want to use my daily use as an example from the scale. I put .50g of caffeine in my Pre-workout drink every morning. I want to put around 500mg, as stated from the book 300-600mg give-or take. Am I calculating this correctly or am I way off? Also want to use a powder form of Yohimbine HCL from TN. I don't want to mis-dose myself causing a heart attack. I have PrimaForce Yohimbine HCL that measures out to 2.5mg per pill, I need 6 of those in order to dose correctly. Would it be 16g or 16mg? And how would I read that on the scale properly?Sorry for the stupid topic and questions, want to use this machine correctly!

bobbitt81MemberThere are 1000 mg per gram. So .5 g of caffeine = 500 mg.You're taking 15 mg of Yohimbine HCL, so you would measure that as .15 gIt has been over a year since my math teacher days though!

You're a God Send THANK YOU!What I don't understand is why each pill says 2.5mg? Is that 2500mg? I would need to take 6 of these

David MargittaiParticipant.015g! Not .15g!.15g would be 150mg. Please, for the love of God, DON'T take 150mg of Yohibine HCL in one dose.

I'll be back around. No worries, man. Just been really busy with work and such. Haven't had a whole ton of time to dedicate to much else outside of training (which I'd never give up).

bobbitt81MemberOops. Sorry for the math error there.

Richard SchmittModeratorOk so here's another measurement question that I want to ensure I'm doing correctly. Dymatize Elite Whey has 24g of protein per ~31g scoop/serving. I personally up it to 25g per 32g scoop/serving. I want to weigh this out correctly to get 10g of whey protein for the AM Shake. To my understanding it would be 25/32= .78. So for every gram by weight there is .78g of whey protein. I would therefore need to weigh 7.8 grams to give me 10g of whey protein...correct?

MikehrMemberhaha tex man just weigh out 16grams of the elite whey that will give you 12.5g of protein, your not gonna get anybad results from an extra 2.5 grams man

Richard SchmittModeratorAH HA! SO MY MATH WAS CORRECT!!! Awesome, I was wanting to put my math skills back to work. It's been a while and I was always good at equations. I was doing it right at first, normally I thought I was “under-doing” my shakes by weighing out 7.5g trying to be clever, turns out not really, and I've been measuring out 11.5g for my CO every morning instead of 14g. Now I know!
